SUMS received three nursing students from National University of Malaysia for three weeks from December 1 to December 18, 2015.
This was realized through the exchanging agreement with National University of Malaysia. Three nursing students of SUMS participated in the exchanging program in Malaysia last August in the same way.
Students from Malaysia attended lectures on nursing management, infection control, safety management and so on at the School of Nursing and the Nursing Division. At the University Hospital, they toured the Emergency and I.C.U, the Pediatrics and other departments. On the third week, they visited the Molecular Neuroscience Research Center and also went to the field trip to a nursing home for the elderly and the handicapped children.
On the final day, they had the student presentation and the closing session. The students gave brilliant presentations of the result of the program, comparing the nursing care system in their country and in Japan.
