On November 10, 2011, having the delegation of UKM headed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Raymond at SUMS, SUMS entered into a collaboration agreement with UKM.

In Asia, SUMS has already concluded cooperative agreements with 5 universities/institutes in China and 2 in Viet Nam. By this new agreement, SUMS has our 8^th sister school in Asia.

Before the signing ceremony, UKM gave us a presentation on its profile which is helpful for the prospective collaborative activities between the both universities.
The UKM delegation had a tour of SUMS in which they visited the Research Center of Animal Life Science, the Biomedical MR Science Center, the Molecular Neuroscience Research Center and the University Hospital. The two universities took their first step of friendly relations through the various events on this occasion.

Our universities are sure to engage in active mutual exchange under this agreement, and further developments in education, research and medical services are expected.
