Through the Agreement for Student Exchange with the Japan Center for Michigan Universities (JCMU), SUMS received 12 students from the JCMU Consortium Universities.
After they studied Japanese for 3weeks at the JCMU located in Hikone, they arrived at SUMS today, on May 31. They are going to stay at SUMS for 3weeks to attend a short-term intensive course surveying the Japanese health care system at the faculty of Nursing and to have observational experiences at the University Hospital.
On the first day of their stay, they received an orientation for newly-arrived residents at the International House of SUMS, and then they had a meeting with Vice-president Hattori. Each student expressed his or her enthusiasm for studying at SUMS.
