Eighteen people in total, thirteen trainees who are the doctors, researchers and medical officers from Asian, Latin American and African countries and five participants, chief senior researchers at National Institute of Public Health and the staff members at health and welfare department in Shiga prefectural government, visited the center for epidemiologic research in Asia.
At the training, Vice President Kihachiro Horiike delivered an opening remark. Then, Aya Kadota, special contract associate professor gave a lecture on ‘Epidemiological study and international collaborative research in the Center for Epidemiologic Research in Asia of SUMS’. After the tour of the center, participants actively exchanged the questions and answers with researchers of the CERA.
